Fishing
The chain of 7 inter-connecting lakes of our fishing resort stretches for 18 mile, and boasts over 100 miles of shoreline, with numerous shoals and weed beds. Fish our main lake system for lake trout, walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, and largemouth bass. For the more adventurous fisherman, our resort offers quiet back-lake retreats, where northern pike and largemouth bass never seem to stop biting. Our back lakes are set up with boats ready to go, and are only a short portage away from the main lake system.
Ice fishing
Lang Lake $140/day ice hut rental
Getting There:
10-15 minute walk or snowshoe (rental available)
2-4 minute drive on the lake (only after ice conditions are safe)
Species: Pike/Walleye/Lake Trout fishing
Ice Hut: 4 person 10’ x 6’ (with wood or propane heat)
Bait and Description: Jig heads and minnows/smelts can be used for Pike, and Shiner minnows and tube jigs for Pickerel. Most Pickerel and Pike are in the 2-6lb range. Monster Pike can also be caught on Lang Lake.

Guided Fishing Trips
For those vacationers that are new to fishing, or want an edge in learning our vast water system Lang Lake Resort offers professional fishing guide services to help you find the hot spots. We strive to ensure that every angler is satisfied and our knowledgeable personnel will be happy to answer any questions, and help make your fishing trip unforgettable. Our guided trips can be in the main lake system, back lakes or the North Channel waterway which is only a short drive away.
Guided trips includes drinks, rods, gas and tackle. Shore lunch can be added to the trip for an additional fee.
Our main lakes guide is aboard a 16.5′ fully equipped Legend boat, with a full windshield stand up cover, custom seats, fish finder, trolling motor, so you can enjoy a completely comfortable fishing experience. The guide consists of a detailed tour of the water system and narrows, all equipment and bait, and a never skunked record. Although it depends on the season, our guide primarily targets pike, walleye, bass and lake trout.
Also available are boat rides, for those vacationers not interested in fishing and just want to go for a pleasure cruise on our lake system.
Hunting
We operate in one of the best Bear, Deer, Moose and Small Game Territories in Ontario. Lang Lake Resort offers excellent hunting territory on hundreds of square km of untouched crown land. Nestled on the border of Killarney Park, our area is an excellent escape for any hunter that wants peace and tranquility on their next hunting trip. Our guides will show you detailed maps of the area, how to access various tree stands, and where the hundreds of km of ATV trails begin. Please call for details on various hunting packages.
